Advanced Practice Social Worker
About Samantha
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Samantha, and I am an Advanced Practice Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Grand View University and my master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I am also a licensed school social worker, and my experience in school settings has provided me with a unique perspective on the social, emotional, academic, and developmental challenges children and families may face.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and respect. I have experience helping clients work through anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, school and peer-related stress, family changes, life transitions, relationship challenges, and trauma. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to helping individuals recognize their innate strengths, work through challenges, and create meaningful growth.

As both a social worker and a person, I value authenticity, honesty, collaboration, and the strengths that every individual brings. I believe each person’s journey is unique, and I strive to create a calm, supportive, and genuine environment where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to show up as your most authentic self. Together, we will work at a pace that feels supportive while encouraging self-discovery, resilience, and hope.

Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season or looking to better understand yourself, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
