About Nichole
Nichole has over 17 years of experience working with children, individuals and families in crisis and who are struggling with mental health and substance use. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from UW-Eau Claire and later went on to obtain her Master of Clinical Social from Capella University. Nichole enjoys utilizing a client-centered approach, individualizing each session to meet each person’s specific needs. Nichole has received specialized training in many areas including Trauma-Informed Care, strengths-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Systems Theory and the Gottman Method for work with couples. Nichole has also recently obtained her Substance Use Disorders Counselor Certificate and enjoys working with individuals with dual diagnoses of mental health and substance use. She is passionate about staying up-to-date in regards to best-practice approaches and strives to continually increase her knowledge base. Nichole has a desire to help adults, families and couples address their mental health needs and enjoys watching her clients meet their goals.
