About Emily
Emily completed her undergraduate studies at UW-Eau Claire where she obtained a Bachelor of Psychology degree. Emily received her Master of Social Work degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Emily has multiple years of experience working with children and their families and started practicing clinically in 2022. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced significant trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc. Emily also has experience with mental health crises including non-suicidal self-injury and suicidal ideation.
She is interested in working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. Emily is passionate about helping individuals reach their mental health goals and unconditionally offers a welcoming environment for all clients. Some of Emily’s evidence-based therapeutic approaches are cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, internal family systems therapy, Gottman method couples therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
